The Sheriff quoted the Talmud. He's a Talmudist. By way of deception thou shall do war. The deceive and mock through deception. The deceptive event isn't even real too, it's fake. And it pisses me off nobody can see through it. If someone watches an obvious scripted interview with a witness who watched dozens of people die before his eyes, the interviewer says something so out of context or so rude, like "how did it feel," or "were you scared" or any other dumb question, people would rather just focus on the feeling aspect, and ask why the interviewer is so rude, when they should be asking why she is asking these questions and why this guy is doing an interview an hour after the shooting totally nonchalantly, as if lighting up a cig. It's painfully obvious these are not real grieving people, or fearful distraught people who just witnessed a shooting, or lost loved ones. Of course they find some good actors who can't shed a tear but at least play the sad part fairly well. Nobody, will ask these questions because they cannot believe the media will LIE TO THEM and Lie to them on such a massive scale. They think the media informs them, when it is the most destructive propaganda force with the advent of television to ever exist.

As always, you are spot on. One thing you see the actors do in the situation(s) you describe, is they rub under their eyes and that will sometimes evoke tears or at least a glassy look.
