What was Japan's criteria for letting these Muslims into the country? It doesn't seem like Muslim professionals would engage in such crime. Muslims appear to be getting a bad name. The world should know that it was the French 2nd Expeditionary Corps compose mainly of Algerians and Moroccans commanded by French officers which broke through the German Gustav Line in the Battle of Monte Cassino during World War ll.

The world should also know about Marocchinate mass rapes or about the Muslim troops used by Germans in the Balkans who committed a number of war crimes like total annihilation of entire villages.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marocchinate

Given the involvement of non-commissioned officers and white officers, some of them Italian-speaking as Corsican, not present in the Goumier troop departments, it can be said that the rapists nestled in all four divisions of the CEF. Perhaps also for this reason, the French officers did not respond to any solicitation from the victims and watched impassively at the work of their men. As the testimonies report, when civilians showed up to report the violence, the officers shrugged their shoulders and dismissed them with a smirk.

Note that the French officers did nothing to stop their troops. This would have encouraged the rape to continue. As for the Germans, of course they would pick those who were willing to commit such acts.
