I was in Japan a couple months ago. Absolutely beautiful country. In general people were really friendly, even though I can't speak Japanese. It's amazing to see a country where there is practically zero crime. Another tourist told me they left a nice pair of sunglasses at a counter in a mall and when they realized a couple hours later and went back they were still sitting there. It really is relaxing to not have to think about crime at all.
