Asking people to temporarily get out of the way of bombs = ethnic cleaning

This is your brain on UN NGO money.

Ah, the old "some terrorists did an evil thing so let's blow up 2.2m civilians homes as punishment while the international community support us" trick. If only we decided to blow up Paris when terrorists shot up the Bataclan, it would have been so much easier to deal with! /s

They aren't blowing up 2.2m.

They asked them to leave.

Because they are trying not to blow them up they now get accused of trying to ethnically cleanse them.

It's all manipulative rhetoric.

Because politely asking them to leave their home so it can be blown up is much better.

Well hurry up and cleanse them before they become European or US bound refugees. Fuck that shit.

This is my proposal for peace. Palestinians will be given the West Bank enlarged by land equivalent to the Gaza Strip. In return, Israel will be given the Gaza Strip and land at least 3 times larger than the West Bank in the Sinai Peninsula. Some of the land will be adjacent to water so Israel can build desalination plants. What's in it for Egypt? Peace on its borders. The Sinai is inhospitable. Egypt does not have the technology to develop it, but Israel does.

There is a big water source under Gaza, that's why the city grew up in that area in the first place. The not having any water thing is just hyperbole

Part of the reason that there are never any agreements on land in the area is that some people are thinking solely in amounts of land and some people are thinking about what those parcels of land can actually offer.

They won't give up an oasis like Gaza for acres of desert.

Look at my proposal. The Israelis will be getting the Gaza Strip. In return, the Palestinians will be given an equivalent piece of land adjacent to the West Bank. Israel would be given at land at least three times the size of the West Bank in the Sinai. Part of the land must be adjacent to water. Through desalination acres of desert can be turned into arable land.
