I hate rich people. They shouldn't get to cost taxpayers this money because they were desperate to vacation somewhere the poors couldn't and had a poor design/emergency plan. Late-stage capitalism seems to be the consumption of novelty. Hell, maybe capitalism always was just the consumption of novelty. I assume the CEO will be refunding the government - at $250,000 a head and ten trips with 6 paying guests a piece last season, he can afford to.

Billionaire CEO was on board, apparently.
What we need is another billionaire CEO to build another submersible next year, and go down searching for the last one. If we can get this going as a trend, soon all our problems will be over.
