There's a problem with lockdown here as well.

The issues came up not during the lesson but afterwards in the playground when some of the non-Muslim kids started teasing the Muslim kids asking if they were terrorists. While in the past those kids would have ripped back or ignored it they when into instant despair. Basically over the last year of lockdown they have lost all their resilience and basic social skills. Having been alone for almost an entire year they are now so focused on making friends again they are desperate to be liked.

Looks like, it is much deeper than people thought. I could agree your last opinion he may get impacted for the lockdown and seeking attention with stupid acts.

That's horrible, how can they do that. Where's the adult watcher?

The thing is the kids have now mostly come out in favour of the teacher.

Some times kids just get really upset about something really quickly then get over it just as fast. Sensible adults don't get overly involved in playground drama. What these kids want is to be with their friends. Segregating them to protect their religious feelz is actually the last thing they want or need.

well, i think a little bit misunderstood here. Protest in Batley started after the protestors who are parents of those student kids had received report from their kids students about depiction of the prophet according to the news. The teacher who got beheaded in france because of this makes idea of segregation not bad at all. I agree with the content of this news, i prefer segregation rather than losing lives unnecessarily. We have right to tell everything unless it is not lie and in the other hand muslim have right to get be "respected" for their faith. The thing will be different if one of the party, step back for their right, by the means no one depicts picture of the prophet as muslim want or muslim accepts their faith not to be respected, but let's embrace reality, no one will step back for their rights.

Islam is about hadith and quran, everything else is kuffar's or bid'ah (heresy), for a muslim to mimick kuffar / making them doing like what kuffar do = damnation to hell. But also : they hypocritically use pictures, musics, computer, handphone, facebook, youtube, glasses which made by kuffars.

in the last part of article writer quoting Al Ghazali, the very same big sheikh that actually destroying Islamic Golden Age because he haram-ize mathematics because he deemed it made by Shayatin (Satan). If muslim want to be fair he's just a biggest taint for Islam.

Lastly, Islam is self-contradicting ad nauseam and thus what they do in such state is actually showing what actually the people are, Brits just have to beware.

Interesting, it would be weird if Al Ghazali was really ever haram-ize mathematics since himself was a Logician.

Al Ghazali might be a logician, but Islam is ilogical to its core ~ if there's some-sort of knowledge that he deemed against Islam he will block it. The evidence says it all how the civilization is deteriorated. Golden is age is only made of early converts ~ the fruits of non-islamic education, it degrades by next generations.
