Local Lebanese station reporting that preliminary investigation believes 2,700 tons of confiscated nitrate exploded after someone "welded a small hole to prevent theft".

God that's so awful. It shattered that glass balcony the person filming was behind. And all the people below driving and walking... there might be even more fatalities than I was thinking. I'd hope to think it's in the 50-200 range, but it may have killed thousands of people. Horrific.
