I didn't watch Trump's speech. I figure he's going to stay stuff and then I'll later learn what they did, what the consequences are.

Elon Musk views everything through the prism of being an unbelievably wealthy individual. He and his class don't have much use for government services, so they seem superfluous.

Professor Wolff avoids ad hominem attacks, and observes there may be signs of the empire thrashing around while failing.

To reiterate, I have a hard time following the media extravaganza regarding Trump, Musk, crushing poor people (in America), bombing Palestinians in Palestine and others (mostly POC) around the world. Trump and the others say stuff to distract and dissemble --- it's a partly fictional production where we'll only hear concerning reports every couple days and then later into his term more information we'll learn what pointless America's Globe actions, possibly destructive actions, the administration has taken. And their stories, their actions, anything they do, can take a 180 degree turn a few hours, days, months later. The Russia project? All that spook and military investment into cornering and looting/balkanizing Russia? You think it's off, do you?
