The Duran likens this move to the EU's version of the Brezhnev Doctrine, come onside or we'll destroy you.

They talk about some of the things Orban could do. First, don't concede an inch to the EU because with Greece as an example, that's the path to ultimate destruction.

To Hungary's benefit, they never converted to the euro so their economy is still based on their own currency, the florin. Orban should solicit the support of his many friends internationally to buy/invest in florins because keeping the currency flowing will keep the Hungarian economy flowing.

Orban should let the Hungarian people know that this isn't just an attack on him, it's an attack on them as articulated in the FT article, that the EU is prepared to punish even pro-EU Hungarians to get their way. Ultimately, this is the EU's way of fomenting regime change in Hungary.

He should demand an immediate meeting of the European Council and point out that Hungary is a member state, that attacking them economically is contrary to the rules of the EU, and demand an explanation of who is behind the plan leaked to the FT. Alexander doesn't doubt that the FT article is true and thinks the EU leaked it to put pressure on Hungary.

Over the past few years, Ursula von der Leyen et al. have accrued more and more power that is centralized in Brussels, going well beyond their authority in matters having nothing to do with the European economy. They accomplished this with the vassal EU states' full complicity and no doubt at the behest of the US because it's easier to control one entity than it is to control all its member states. The ultimate goal for these globalists is to destroy national sovereignty, which is why Orban is their Public Enemy #1.
