Took me a day to get round to watching this but I'm glad I kept the tab open

Have now watched it; Catherine was a great guest and prompted a good discussion

'We must be heretics. We should blaspheme."

--- Catherine Liu, author of "Virtue Hoarders"

How's this for blasphemy:

Savings --> Hoarding is part of the problem: More manufactured scarcity ---> More "Competition"

But wait:
Savings concentrated in the hands of Hierarchy
--- that is the real 2x/3x/4x/[X] Whammy! The Whammy that keeps on whammy-ing . . .

There's more:
Individual savings fed into an Indirect Hierarchical Asset Management System that is not really accountable to them turns out to actually work against the interests of the Savers

--- just like individual ballots fed into an Indirect Hierarchical Political system
