I don't think there is an impeachment effort at this stage, though that's where it will ultimately lead according to Republicans. Right now it's investigation into Hunter Biden's nefarious financial activities, including in behalf of foreign governments, and to what extent Joe Biden is implicated in them. Which is increasingly looking like a lot.

This entire nonsense is not helping the middle class the tiniest bit. We need to put the administration feet to the fire in a more strategic and effective way. Sabotaging our own country and wasting money will not bring any good results.

Impeachment used properly is in no way "sabotoging our own country."

"Wasting money" has more to do with the military's budget and aid to Ukraine than the costs of an impeachment process. Money is always available for what those with real power want.

What leverage do you suppose voters have "to put the administration feet to the fire" to help the middle class, the working class, and the people who need help the most, the working and non-working poor?

Impeachment and trying to do anything for Americans who are hurting are not mutually exclusive; don't buy into that specious argument.
