Jimmy Dore was way out of line in his Cornel West interview, but not because he's a fucking Trump supporter. Rather because he thinks he's smarter than West and wanted to lecture him on how to run his campaign.

Nobody was forcing Cornel West to embarrass himself. Clearly Cornel is not finished in that department.

To Jimmy's credit, he correctly identified the things that were wrong with Bernie's campaign when he was raging about that in 2020. Bernie was saying a lot of the wrong things, and wound up dropping out in early April.

I think we all had the right to call out Bernie in '20, after watching what he did in '16. His '20 run was pure sheepdogging. Like I said, when someone reveals themselves to be disingenuous or a con artist, by all means poke at 'em with a stick.

He wanted to call him out on what he (rightfully) saw as major mistakes on the part of West in the hope that it maybe would have had an impact. That doesn't make him way out of line or believe himself to be smarter than West.

He already tried to explain this multiple times, including that he wanted to talk to West privately but the campaign refused and insisted on doing it publicly. Maybe hoping that Dore would self-censor? Who knows.

Anyway, besides the point, not going back to endless arguing over it. This smear piece is complete and utter bullshit, obvious bullshit, and West qualifying it as being somehow 'courageous' is, as I said, not going to help.

It's also stupid as fuck, but maybe this is another criticism of West that would be treated as some kind of unforgivable offense.

I haven't watched this particular video because I don't have the time today to listen to 1hr of that on 2x speed hoping he gets to a point somewhere. But if it's as bad as everyone says, with him basically calling Dore a Trumper, then West's comment on the video is indeed problematic.

That doesn't mean Dore was right to call out West, because he wasn't. When you have someone like West on your show, in the context of a political campaign, you have to let them speak. Not shout them down and explain how they should be running their campaign.

Perhaps"saluting" a disingenuous hit piece on Dore wasn't good outreach 2day. The pic of Dore isn't from the interview a false attempt 2 make him look "angry". Questions aren't betrayal. Dore isn't even remotely a Trump supporter. Fake Trump pic in background.

What is West saluting? This sorry piece of smear attempt by Tim Black, hardly a reference in objective coverage, using a badly Photoshopped thumbnail trying to make Dore look like a Trump supporter.

Not to mention this pile of nonsense in the description:

Once again, if this came from an advisor, he really surrounded himself with the exact same kind of dipshits as if he was running in the democratic party. If it came from himself... then it raises more and worse questions, so I hope it's the first one.
