Better braindead than orange!

a large percentage of voters are concerned about President Biden’s age

Yeah, they can keep putting that framing up their corrupt ass.

If him being old as fuck was the main (if not only) issue, things would be very different pretty much anywhere in the world right about now.

49 percent said Biden’s age was their biggest concern about him as a candidate in 2024.

Yep, they frame it as age but respondents read it as "senility", which of course they're not going to acknowledge.

The guy's more sandwiches short of a picnic by the day. Add a Swiss cheese brain to career-long corruption and you have a US president fit for the times, though unfit in every other sense.

BTW, had a friend tell me yesterday that he's not senile or mentally incapacitated, he just has some memory lapses occasionally like older people do and he absolutely is running things. I can't even.

Sounds like a senior defensive about senior moments and unwilling to delve into self-reflection.

Knowing the friend as I do (who's younger than me by 15 years), I'd say it's more taking the easy, well-traveled road because it's too much work to do otherwise. It's amazing how some people have no problem exerting themselves physically but are unwilling or incapable of exerting their brains.

True. I grok the temptation, but the cost of intellectual laziness can be higher than I'm willing to risk.

Same here! I may miss a lot but it won't be from lack of trying.

Seems like senility is the real pandemic.

Wish it could be attributed to senility but it's just a blind refusal to acknowledge reality. This same person told me she finds RFK Jr. "slimy", yet she has no problem with Biden? It's disappointing to find that friends you considered smart and intuitive are anything but.

Propaganda is powerful, and some of the people who are smartest in academic terms are the most gullible in reality terms.

"book smart and life stupid" to use a description I learned from you!

It's been suggested they're even more gullible and that certainly seems to be the case sometimes.

Think I saw a piece about that on this very sub.

This same person told me she finds RFK Jr. "slimy"

Reminds me of the "Bernie makes my skin crawl" comment.

Good catch, I had forgotten that.

Well, you can guess what I'd say about how and why otherwise sensible people are made into firmly believing completely irrational nonsense :)

I still cannot understand why the Democrats think that Biden should be entitled to good political polls.

He's managed the economy very poorly and foreign policy even worse.

I still cannot understand why the Democrats think that Biden should be entitled to good political polls.

Because he's a democrat, so obviously he should be entitled to everything.

The indestructible and unquestionable sense of entitlement that's the basis of the shitlib mentality doesn't come from nowhere.
