New Democrats --- A name whose purpose is distinguishing Dem pols like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and the like from populist policies of prior generations, like the New Deal and the Great Society, and other things the wealthy hate, like the war tax.

It's the ability to virtue signal (in public, anyway) and feel righteous while getting tax breaks instead of being taxed a penny more to feed or house poor people. Small wonder celebrities and people like George Soros, Warren Buffet and celebs raking in millions of dollars love New Democrat pols. Ever see Jon Stewart interviewing a Clinton or being on a panel with a Clinton? He practically drools.

The other wing of the uniparty is no better for most Americans, either. Pols of both wings are bought and paid for by the same lobbyists and large individual donors.
