Just an update on what's going on, especially about ballot access. I've got a new sub over on Reddit about the state of Green Party Ballot Access. It's mainly informative, at the moment anyway. So, if you're curious, check it out. It's not as open as WotB, mainly because I don't have the bandwidth to deal with VBNMW trolls. But I'd love to take any of your questions:) I might have to adjust a few settings to make that happen, sorry, newbie mod.

There are a lot of ballot access petition drives happening right now. Some of the states where the Greens aren't on the ballot at the moment should be easy. And some have ridiculous hurdles to jump.

Currently, Massachusetts is trying to register 50,000 people (by the end of this year) with the Green-Rainbow Party so that all of their candidates will get on the ballot. (That's one reason to skip the Democratic primary this time around.)

Delware is trying to get more people to register Green too, so that they can get on the ballot.

Arizona is working on getting people to sign ballot access petitions. They have 20,000 signatures so far, but need 60,000. If you're nearby and want to help them out, they're doing a push over Labor Day weekend, at fairs, festivals, parades and such.

Vermont will have caucus meetings in September. I'll have more info later, but basically, three different people in ten different towns can have a town caucus meeting to get the Green Mountain Peace & Justice Party on the ballot.

Maryland, Missouri, and other states are in the midst of petitioning to get on the ballot. And new Green Parties are forming in Alaska and Georgia.

Quite honestly, the excitement over the Cornel West campaign should make it much easier to get ballot access than it has been! There's a ton going on. I'll definitely keep you guys in the loop.
