As an interview, it's fine. But Freddie's whining and terminal inability to see past the end of his nose never fails to annoy me. He's a perfect example of the useless, listless, enervated, boring, doughy, gullible, myopic collection of chumps and dullards that comprises the "actual left" in America.

 

A few moments that stood out to me:

 

Whining:

"The left is owned by the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party never has to offer us anything for our votes, and... if we don't vote for the Democratic Party it must be because we love Trump."

 

Freddie is not only a chump, but he's a traitor to his ideology, to paraphrase a much smarter man. Of course, that's why no one will ever have any interest in killing him. He's perfectly safe, because he's entirely unthreatening.

 

More whining:

"I'm not unaware of how sort of structurally disadvantaged leftist and socialist politicians are in the United States."

 

Do I really have to spell it out for you?

Give me just one tall, handsome, charismatic, and eloquent man who actually has principles and can't be bought, and in 2 years I could make the left the undisputed center of political gravity in this country!

There is no structural disadvantage holding the left back. Quite the contrary. Every mechanical factor in play is tilted sharply in the left's favor.

The only things holding the left back are a lack of imagination, a lack of courage, and a lack of leadership.

 

Yet more whining! Because what else can you ever expect from our Freddie? This time the fat stupid slob completely fails to understand how the right reversed Roe.

"All they did was ruthlessly pursue that outcome!"

Oh, they just kept at it and kept at it and kept at it and refused to compromise and that always works, as we see in the Ukraine, right?

No, you dimwit, they changed minds. Every generation since Roe has been more anti-abortion than the last: because of advances in ultrasound, because the right walked the walk and set up crisis pregnancy centers and enacted safe haven laws in all 50 states (which the left foolishly and vainly opposed), and because of prayer.

You don't have to believe in God to understand that Americans saw, over the decades, millions of ordinary respectable folk holding what are - at the most basic level - silent and dignified protests.

Tell me, Freddie ol' pal, how do you think that stacks up against BLM thugs torching neighborhoods, ransacking shoe stores, threatening diners, buying mansions, and demanding protection money from businesses?

Krystal's defense of Trump's SALT cap actually surprised me. Yes, my opinion of her is so low, even that can make it tick up.
