This kind of class warfare is becoming a very common and very alarming sight throughout the US.

Jimmy Carter broke the back of the teamsters with the Motor Carrier Act of 1980.

Prices cratered alright and took the truckers pay with it.

Yep. It's not widely acknowledged, but Reagan was more of a continuation and worsening of some of the policies that began with Jimmy Carter to roll back the New Deal.

Carter has arguably redeemed himself with a good behaviour after leaving office, but he did a lot that was harmful to the New Deal.
