This seems to be implying that in some cases, boycotts work.

Didn't most people flock to Modelo and Corona though? Both of which are also owned by Anheuser-Busch's parent company?

No idea on that...

But if everyone suddenly stopped buying Chevys and switched to Buicks, GM would still have a bunch of Chevys they'd have to unload somewhere....

Good point.

This threat that USAmericans are hurting workers by boycotting is bullshit though, they're a multibillion dollar company, they can afford to keep paying their workers, or transfer them to their other brands that are performing better than Bud Light.

We'll see when they announce earnings, how much of a real hit they take. Considering that BUD is carrying 80 billion dollars in debt, they can't take much of a hit without being in danger of going BK. They took out that debt when rates were near 0% and new debt is pushing 7%. It remains to be seen if CRE blows up first or one of these conglomerates that borrowed cheap to buy out everything they could.

What the fuck? How could you get into 80b in debt by selling basic beer to rednecks? Fuck them, sounds like they deserve to go out of business either way

In-Bev bought BUD on credit.
