Yeah why they would choose a censorship friendly platform like discord as a backup is beyond me.

Not only that, but Discord just doesn't do a good job at all. It's so easy to abuse their system that there are entire companies dedicated to selling "get a Discord server banned" for like $20. Basically what they do is raid the server with a bunch of stuff that breaks the rules and mass report it. Discord doesn't bother to check anything, so they just delete the server and every account on it gets disabled.

No I'm serious, those companies actually exist. They work because Discord's system is so easy to abuse, and Discord doesn't care.
