If reddit was true to its own rules, it would ban AHS instead of using it as an extension of reddit's wishes.

If reddit was true to its own rules, subs like r/politics and r/the_mueller would've been quarantined ages ago for pushing conspiracy theories.

Reddit knows the hate speech and CP is usually just astroturfers and trolls from AHS, but they don't care because they wanted to shut down the subreddit anyway, and it gives them a good excuse.

I see similar things currently happening on r/Wuhan_Flu, there are a number of people who post stuff like racist nonsense, but when you look at their post history, they're not at all interested in the contents of that subreddit and are just there to sabotage it.
