i am not from canada and even i am sick of hearing it. stereotypes are killing creative thought and have nothing to do with reality.

the powers that shouldnt be pulled the same number on the brits with their 'tight upper lip' and other programming from the msm.

Great! can't agree more! Stereo types (as I showed/explained above/other comment) are truly a Nazi era type thinking. I mean, if I adhered to them I wouldn't be here on this site, the makers of this site would have been cast away as posioned up 600lbs or more consumers trying to make a buck. [If they are, well played... :p JK /u/magnora7 sounds too skinny and /u/d3rr too rational (zen-like even with his remarks, too human... but yeah Zen) totally not not like American 'Tourists' I've encountered.]

Anyway yeah I was stereotyping again, I don't hold my stereo typees against you... it's just a 'tag' like 'ping' that goes off soon to be discredited... Never did I spot a stereo type american here and even if you are, I will gladly help in my internet comment capacity...

Ahhh did it again! Well, first of all, make love to yourself, if you ever need MY opinion about You based on stereotypes I can tell you: You might have a problem anyway :D

The stereotypes are based on tourists from two generations ago. Does that explain it?

I'm now a huge fan of sterotypes :) :D

sterotypes

'Murication' hehe! (It's a pun on Americans being dumb, which is a stereotype)

Nice does mean a lot of other things than you summed up. Probably it's meant in a way as to more community related or even context related.

I get your points, but IMHO (European) it's a better 'stereo type' to have than the Americans have...

[Heck! You're filthy socialists to some americans, but you do enjoy healthcare like europeans, you might be the missing link for humanity to get over the 'group' think of europa and the 'dickheads' from america to become a better species]

My opinion is: Better than the French, worse than the Germans. I have a lot of my family tree living in Canada and they are DOWN TO EARTH in a not to overly (crazy American evangelistic) pagan/Christian way. Ehmm.. Individualistic is a good way (maybe not perfect, but hey, no country/community is)

EDIT: so yeah, more funny than insightful.. if you can get through your snow packed skull you horse riding maple syrup slurping human being!

We also have better education, health, and an outsider perspective on the absurdities of the American Dream.

Back in the day, I was stationed near the Canadian border. Enlisted guys weren't allowed into most Canadian bars and clubs.
Cause Canadians are too nice.

(Americans soldiers like to fight, in Queens).

It's bad enough getting Michigan kids coming to Windsor because our drinking age is a few years younger. Stupid kids. Get off my lawn!

Windsor, huh?

I assumed you lived in Saskatoon.

Maybe that was just a excuse, to keep you guys from getting hurt.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That has to be the reason.

No kidding, most of the people I meet here in my daily life are dull, self-absorbed and low energy.

When Canada takes over the world, you're ALL going to be sorry.

Sorry, not sorry.

When Canada takes over the world, you're ALL going to be sorry.

This is a hilarious phrase.
