This is nuts. How can they fix something that they can't even test for? Is there a better test than the PCR that should have been used in the vaccine trials?

From the data in other studies, PCR only works on day 3 and 4 of the infection. If the correct cycles are used. So if they test every day with the correct cycles, it might be useful. But even then we need alternative detection methods as well.
