I love some of those demands the whores have on their sign. Beyond the ones that would make their jobs better than normal jobs, like demanding free mental health support, they also want flexible working hours. I didn't know the Belgian government were demanding whores work from 8am till 6pm, 6 days a week. I kinda thought whores either worked when they wanted or when their pimp told them to.

I also got a chuckle out of that one that was saying their pimps think of them as product to be sold... Yeah, kinda. I don't know if you noticed, but when you're trying to rent a woman for an hour, the woman is the product. Like if you're paying a handyman to fix your roller door, the handyman is the product - You're paying for him to do things. Their ads don't say: "Dave is a REAL human with REAL feelings, so you should respect him!". They say: "We can send a guy to fix anything in your house! All hours, no call out fee!!"

Strangely, sex workers don't seem too bothered by how the people who seek them out are never considered people, just perverts, incels, and what-not "taking advantage of them."

I'm always heart broken when I take advantage of the poor "Sandwich artist" at Subway by asking them for a 6 inch roast chicken and salad with chipotle sauce. :(

I have to assume that it's a pretty eclectic mix of people who hire hookers. There's got to be some abusive, indifferent, fucked up losers in there... But there must also be people who work hard and work odd hours and just have more money than they do time to get out and mingle, or people who are just lonely and really shitty at social stuff and don't have much hope of meeting someone, or ugly people who saved up and just can't stand the idea of slapping their own junk around again tonight, and virgins who just want to know what it's like... In fact, I kinda thought the idea behind making it legal and such was to help prevent the more awful types from taking advantage of them? Wouldn't their customer base become more human to them as they found themselves being called out to the home of drugged up no-hopers less often?

I guess I don't know much about selling my body for money. It's not like I don't try, but it's a buyer's market. :(

Well, there's your problem. By and large, the prostitutes who call for this are the ones who want the job to be "I go on Tinder, swipe on everyone I want to sleep with, AND I get to make them give me $100 afterwards too!"

I highly doubt this is a hooker-buying demographic. Even at my most busy and least-laid I never once felt so low about myself that I considered paying another human being to let me penetrate them.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. It takes a certain kind of person to pay for sex, and they come in all varieties. There will be hard working people who don't have a lot of time, but are also the kind of person who would buy sex. Just because you wouldn't isn't much of a statement - that's like saying because you wouldn't eat human flesh, nobody would.
