I like how the headline makes it sound like the bill was supposed to ban them from athletics but read for 5 seconds and it's just to ban them from competing on opposite sex teams.

There's actually an argument to be made that cross sex hormones are a form of steroid and legitimately you should consider banning them from all athletics. A FtM is unlikely to displace boys even when on testosterone but then if you put them back on the girls team yes they are juiced up.
