I also got a chuckle over how horrible she found it that her daughter might get her period while saying she's a man.
Lady, nature and the world are going to show your 6 and 8 year old daughters that they are wrong about a lot of things, all the time, through their lives without a shred of mercy. Reality is going to march all over them indifferently over and over again. Maybe, if they start saying and doing things that you know are wrong and they are going to be disappointed when they are proven wrong, you should prepare them for that instead?
