God, imagine having that in your life.

I wouldn't personally. Have very little patience for this bullshit.

Basically they are being terrorized into walking on eggshells around this person.

I'd probably purposely go out of my way to use the "wrong" pronouns if a family member pulled this shit. Though I'd probably be willing to compromise with "that/cunt" pronouns.
