I've always said the only solution is not to play.

If you're a woman in a swimming competition that allows men to swim as women. Just quit. Don't play. The women stand together and maintain solidarity on this and it will only take one time for this nonsense to stop. "If we are forced to allow males to compete in the female competition we'll resign"

And then if they make you you have to resign.

What do you think would happen if Lia Thomas was facing a competition with literally nobody to compete against except other trans women? Advertising revenue would dry up, the corporate powers that be would very quickly find a reason why it's not "discrimination" to tell trans women they don't have a right to equal access to women's sports once their pocket books are effected.

I agree, but I think it's very hard to tell women to forfeit careers they've sacrificed and trained their whole lives for. The window for participation at the elite level is pretty narrow, and this requires pretty much a generation of female athletes to just walk away. I frankly think these men would still see that as a win.

Completely agree. But they don't really have a choice as I see it. They either forfeit their careers now and refuse to put up with it, or they forfeit their careers later when more trans identified males jump on it and dominate the high levels. That of course is a horrible position for them to be in, but I don't really see any alternative.
