ahahahaha did they really think they can make people not be mean on the internet?

There's a solution to it and it's called go outside and ignore the internet.

For the troons, that's really not a solution though. Because the vast majority of the real world doesn't give a shit about them, and what little validation they receive is almost entirely via the online hugboxes.

That's what the block button is for if you want the hugbox. Why get caught up in random people hating you? Block and move on, go outside and meet real people and understand most of them don't hate you or even know you exist.

Oh dear, have you never heard of that delightful thing known as the "persecution complex?" Being a target, whether they actually are or not, is a dopamine hit on par with being able to freely step on other people from the safety of their protected class. These muppets can run off to the echo chamber, cry about how all of the people are being mean to them, and there's a veritable conga line of consoling ass pats coming their way.

Theirs is a twisted world, where even bad attention is still attention, and the bad attention can lead to good if leveraged right. Notice that, in spite of all of the crying going on about their posts being featured on Twitter, they don't private the sub at all.

It makes me feel old. Who has time for that? I've got work and sleep and life to do. Too much work to create mountains out of molehills.
