They assume utopia will be left because they can just keep killing anyone they don't like until all that's left is them and people who outright simp for them.

Yes, they assume that they will be the ones in charge…but just like after every single revolution, the actual revolutionaries get liquidated tout suite lest they get any ideas about deposing the newly installed Dear Leader. The Dear Leader also needs to consolidate their power base, and the number of key individuals needs to be as small as possible.

So if you’re going to do a revolution you best be the leader or be utterly indispensable and somehow I don’t think baristas and streamers have the necessary skills or power base to make it as an indispensable member of the leader’s entourage. Ironically, police, army, bankers and union bosses are they kinds that become indispensable (as long as they remain in control of their orgs), baristas, YouTubers, twitch streamers, OF girls and TikTokers not so much.

Well, there's your problem- there is no doubt in these people's minds they will be Dear Leader when it all ends, so they don't have to worry about the revolutionaries being liquidated (in their mind, they will be the ones liquidating). Even though they're baristas/streamers, they truly believe they're so charismatic and perfect that they'll be the one risen up on a pedestal to become the leader.

I've had some fun conversations with hippie type anarchists.

"Man like it will be great once the system of capitalistic oppression collapses and I can like work on my art and not have to go to my nine to five"

"Nah mate like when the system of capitalistic oppression collapses I've gotta plan to replace it with my own system of chatel slavery oppression and I've got you slated for work in cotton field #7."

"Nah man like you can't make me do that because like we are gonna get rid of all the guns and instruments of violence and shit"

"Cool, here's your magic genie to grant that wish, poof, all the guns are gone, oh well, guess I gotta make a sword instead and practice my archery".

I mean it's like totally alien to them the idea that, if I decide to be evil, I can use evil methods to force them to do what I want. And so can anyone else.

Like who do you think survives a fucking war except for the most ruthless of sociopaths?

I mean I think personally you'll get farther in life by being social and working with people but even that you can spin to be purely pragmatic, like it's better to be a warlord with a possy of loyal goons rather than a lone gun sociopath trying to mad max that shit alone. Chrome be with you!

Exactly. Heck, it's just part of any possible movement and goes to human nature: If everyone else decides to be good, the person who decides to be evil is suddenly at an advantage because they get to do whatever they want. It's doubled because the people who decide to do good fully realize that to take out this evil person would be to do evil, and thus they have to sit back and let it happen because, well, they can't be evil and be just like that person.
