In one sense they are kind of right. That dumb ass progress flag is 100% supported by the liberal elite, who are the same people allied with neocons in favor of war everywhere. The whole "I'm larping as a communist queer who believes that heteronormativity is propaganda from western imperialism" is just purely nonsensical. Even leftist Muslims have a reason to hate that flag but at the same time religious people are just going to be patriarchal right wingers who the gender specials think only applies to cishet white males.
