Just any old random causes can be added to your word soup to really spice up the flavour:

"By donating to the Red Cross, you're helping everyone, especially victims of female circumcision."
"Vote Yes on proposition 629, allowing people to record your conversations without your permission, to acknowledge the struggle of trans people."
