  • Begins with loaded question asking why they want to "deny the safety of transwomen", ignoring the subject of the talk being safety of women & kids
  • Claims to not understand biological sex or to understand what transwomen are
  • Rejects question about safety of women in prison by saying she doesn't believe in prisons

Generally just spends as much time as possible disrupting discussion to avoid logical debate.

This woman actually had a civil conversation. Might almost be hope for her, if the cult doesn't manage to snuff out her curiosity.

Interesting event because masked Antifa didn't show up, the protesters actually seemed well-behaved.

I wish I'd been able to immediately ask the obvious bait follow-up, does Donald Trump belong in prison? I'd bet my nuts she wouldn't even hesitate before saying "yes," and never mind the obvious dissonance with her previous statement.

My obvious bait followup would be to deny the dodge. You don't believe in prisons? What the fuck does that mean in this context? You don't believe that prisons exist same as you don't believe in Santa Claus?

Putting aside whether or not you believe prisons should exist as a side topic for later, the fact that they do exist is undeniably true. So we ask again what about the safety of female inmates in female prisons that admit male prisoners who identify as women?

It won't work, because at best they'd say there should be no laws, period, even rape and murder is 100% legal. At worse, they'll say the answer is "they, personally, should get the power to kill anyone they believe broke a law, or didn't but they dislike."

Yeah but at that point you've gotten them to clarify that they are batshit insane and shouldn't be taken seriously. Which basically means you win the argument so long as you keep your cool about it.

The whole strategy of the batshit insane people is to get you angry with a flurry of absolutely rediculous nonsense then turn around and play the victim when you finally get mad and rightfully call them retarded.

Rather it's better to just keep pushing and not accept vague or simplistic answers, make them explain their position, keep them on the defensive. It's a good debate tactic in general and you can maintain good faith because if someone comes up with a batshit crazy idea, like say, sending a million people to live on Mars within ten years, it's much better to let them tie their own noose trying to explain how they are actually going to do it rather than engage with the game they want to play which is simply complaining about how the reason they fail is nobody believes in them.

But then you forget, the batshit insane people don't play the victim when you get mad and call them retarded, they do it the second you show any pushback whatsoever, they position it as if you called them retarded.
