I can't imagine that someone whose best things going for them are the cat and weed has their main problem with being "trans". It's more likely a cope.

It's far easier to say my family abandoned me because they are bigots than my family abandoned me because I'm pathetic.

Well he does say he has a great job that he can't afford to lose. Likely in the tech sector, and likely a place where everybody caters to his every whim. Yet his life is still terrible.

He also says he lives paycheck to paycheck while his ex has money (ie saves rather than blowing it all on frilly knickers and egirls).

If she has sole custody of their son, it's probably going towards child support, which he ostensibly resents.
