it's like the Yale and Evergreen protests--the older generation was in this abject panic and quakingly handed over they keys to the campus: they even gave awards to the rich Ivy Leaguers who chased respected professors out of employment

by 2018 the shine wore off and it was more like "oh look, the newest batch of sophomores is demanding we hang the toilet paper overhand or they'll riot ... again. and two years later another batch of sophomores will be demanding the janitors hang the TP underhand or they'll riot ..."; 2020 was even more short-lived
