You can't help but wonder just what went wrong in his life to bring him to that point.

Before the current trend most troons were ex army.

It's personality disorders, PTSD and stress relief. If you are walking into a bar looking like that, you aren't going to be thinking of all the other terrible shit you've seen in your life.

Interesting theory. I've always wondered why so many troons seem to be ex military.

I think it's another symptom of the narcissism that is their main mode of thinking. No direction in life as a youth in the past often meant you were a prime target for recruitment. So they go through that, expecting to be "made into someone", but it's still them at the end. So the narcissistic pursuit for a self continues. What else do they like and can thus identify with? Oh, porn.

I think it is a ton of reasons mixed together. Hard to say. Porn, high stress, so called "machismo" culture. A lot of women in the military are also fucked up I think because the traditional military hierarchy structures I think tend to work best for, well let's just say typical men really. Women are often not well suited to that environment (and from what I gather from my conversations the negative aspects of female socialization tend to be amplified as well) and for men that don't exactly fit the "manly man" or have identity issues with self acceptance, I think it breaks their psyche.

I've dated ex-military before, also have spend loads of time around military and ex military during my party animal alcoholic phase. Generally, good people. But a lot are fucked up.

Hard to really single out what exactly causes this though. I think there is a narcissistic element of it, hell the entire story of Narcissus is basically the same as the AGP phenomenon, people falling in love with their own reflection, but there is a bit more too it than just that. Some kind of trauma or self acceptance issue I think goes along with it.

Normally a narcissist will think they are hot shit and the best around. But a transsexual is almost like an opposite of Narcissus, they look in the mirror and very much don't like what they see, don't accept themselves, and then have to change themselves to get that same "high" if you were.

What elements are there? Latent homosexuality that the person can't accept about themselves for either person or environmental reasons?

Autists failing to connect with a romantic partner in the same manner as their peers and attempting to logic out the problems of emotional blindness? Men and Women get along, I don't get along with Women well or understand them, I do get along well with Men, Women get along well with men, therefore I must be a woman.

Normally a narcissist will think they are hot shit and the best around.

This is actually not true. Grandiose narcissism is one way it manifests, but there are plenty of people with Main Character Syndrome who are nonetheless depressed because their "story" isn't playing out like they had hoped. Narcissism is the mode under which everything is sold to us these days - every single commercial, movie, song, etc. that attempts to communicate an ideology does so through atomization. "This is your time. This product will make you come alive. Your story starts after you buy this car."

I do think autism has something to do with it, because it's essentially an obsession with something you don't fully understand - another person. But I don't think homosexuality is necessarily related. It's more like a kind of heterosexual social engineering - can't get a girlfriend, but loves girls, wants to touch them, etc. = "I know! I'll make myself into one! That's a GF who can never leave!"

I can personally vouch for this. I dated an army vet in 2016, he was horribly abusive and I have a LOT of stories about this guy but the nicest thing I can say is he at least waited a few months before revealing the troonery. I think with him it was a combination of what you listed plus AGPism, the only way he could get turned on was if he pretended to be a woman. This was before my final peaking so I tried to "be kind" for a while but I hit my limit when he started insisting we were lesbians.

His parents didn’t have a condom, and his dad said “I’ll just pull out, what’s the worst that could happen?” And God saw that as a dare He just couldn’t let pass.

This literally happens in the bible

Wtf is wrong with these men that they're proud of themselves for doing this?

Vera Wylde from YouTube Council of Geeks is another prime example. From cute intelligent guy with pictures of himself with friends and pets, to taking estrogen to give himself breasts, making video reviews of sex toys and fake women's body parts and documenting his sexual deviancy on Twitter. All whilst ranting about transphobia naturally.

A concerted effort by various groups to eliminate all societal pressures that constrained people into some form of normalcy, or, if they couldn’t, provided adequate incentive to keep that shit to themselves.

We seem to have gone all in on self-esteem and acceptance, combined it with an culture that is obsessed with attention and rewards victimhood and done away with any kind of balancing pressures to temper the utter weirdness that lurks in the brains of some people.

We forget that society didn’t just appear out of nowhere, it evolved over tens of thousands of years and facets of society developed for specific reasons…and whilst we should be trying to improve our lot and the lot of everyone, we should be giving some consideration as to why certain behaviours, expectations and norms have developed before we trash them.

It’s like the people who lament the fact that it is largely impossible to support a family from one income any more, and no one ever seems to question why that might be, what might have changed between the 50s and late-80s, whilst at the same time the cost of most things has fallen considerably due to globalisation and technological advances.

Very well said.

The phrase “don’t tear down a fence until you understand why it was built in the first place” comes to mind.

I was wracking my brain to remember that earlier and came up blank.

Remember these deviants are beholden to the intersectional creed that the fence was built by racist white men to uphold the patriarchal gender binary, and tearing it down will liberate all the oppressed queers and usher in a new age of equity for all.

They advertise it because they are desperate to be the focus of someone's sexual desire.

When jerking off is the happiest you are from day to day, to the point where everything else you do feels like a dull shadow of its former self, it's easy to understand why you might commit your entire life to living a fetish.

So... he just got fat and put on a wig he dug out of the bottom of Party City bargain bin? Wow, he's literally 100% a woman now!
