I'm glad I moved out of NYC when I did. What a fucking Orwellian nightmare this "training" is.

This shit is pretty normal of governments world wide. I think it's a good thing honestly, because it is largely counterproductive to the goals of spreading crazy gender ideas.

See we are far past the point where we can contain these stupid ideas to Tumblr or academia. But when you drag normal working class people through this nonsense they see the emperor's minimalist fashion for what it is and it creates more backlash. And the people pushing it become more and more confounded as to why people "can't wrap their head around" such "easy" concepts like how penis equals boy vagina equals girl is so deeply transphobic.

What it does do is get those normal people angry and more politically active stirring shit up in schools and the like and making it harder for people to get by teaching nonsense like they have been doing for years. Of course this is a fact well known by every political party as well which is why this had been deemed the current culture war issue and why it has gotten blown up far beyond the less than one percent of the population that used to identify as something other than normal.

Yeah, there’s growing evidence that things like “diversity and bias awareness training” does more harm than good, unfortunately, the response from those promoting such nonsense has been to push for more of everything because they cannot admit that they might have got it wrong.

You'd think an era of fake news would make people catch on "people don't want the truth, they want what they want to hear to be the truth", and kids learn this lesson far younger than people think.

End result of this- kids say "If I say this, [authority figure] will be happy and like me and treat me well. If I do not, they will be mad and hate me and punish me", and the people hyping this up think they found new people who weren't in the group, and they have their excuse to push it further and further.

The ideologically possessed just don’t care.

I was reading an article today that talked about how Amazon has lost hundreds of millions of dollars making TV shows that their own market research and focus groups told them that no one wanted to watch. They ignored the results of their research because it didn’t match their politics. They literally acted against their own interests because their politics told them that they had to.

Well, of course they don't care. They're in a ideology where victimhood is currency.

The story you mention is a good example of this: If Amazon stops making the TV shows no one wants to watch, they turned their back on Wokeness and (considering the Woke REALLY want Amazon blood), they'll be attacked and lose their job.

If they keep making them, one day Amazon will fire them for losing all this money, but they can turn around and cry and wail they just wanted to give marginalized groups heroes who look like them and THEY were really cancelled, honest, and then that personal producer makes sweet sweet victimhood grifter money and get all the clout and power!
