I used to wonder when people go crazy and do stupid things like hurting or killing people...what could've drove them to do such horrible things?

I knew something was up when they went with the bland "all we're asking for is for people to just be NICE--it costs you nothing!" line, it's one of those "suspiciously-specific denials" like when a tribal society has a religious commandment specifically against eating your grandparents and wearing their skin

Human decency is indeed lacking here.

I know doctors who have treated actual Nazi skinheads (despite being black or Jewish for the doctors I know) and both are required to have the professionalism and thick skin to provide healthcare to people with whom they fundamentally disagree. Or people who literally want them dead.

This is a repeat but from Newsweek. It's actually a bit funny to see how tilted the framing of the story is coming from a mainstream news outlet as opposed to the original.

They feel the need to repeatedly insert non sequitur assertions about how much violence transgender people experience.
