Jailed for kidnapping, then attempted to kill an inmate, castrated himself with a razor, diagnosed with personality disorder, sold drugs and sex in prison.

Honestly the truest representative of the pride movement I've seen.

I do love how all the people who rushed to his defence or tried to downplay his words have “Homered the hedge” as more and more details about how vile he is came out.

What? My activist friend asked me to stand with this stunning and brave lady and so obviously I just did it without having the first fucking clue who or what I was supporting. That's how just twitter activism works!!!

People defended him?

[–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yes, a lot of people defended, played down or selectively ignored his comments.

Oh so like every trans criminal

They had like a hundred or so people come out and protest his arrest.

The phenomenon used to be known as "teflon trans," the idea that because they're so oppressed they can't be held responsible for anything they do. Nothing sticks. That's why the T were so paralyzed when it came to the Jonathan/Jessica Yaniv situation. And it happens every time a trans person is arrested. They focus on "misgendering" in any news coverage, like the couple of shooters we've had over the last couple of years.

Google is biased so I can't find anything about "teflon trans" or "teflon" in general. Can you link me some definitions?

Use duckduckgo instead of google. I just did and found several instances of it. I think the term may have originated on the Gender Critical subreddit when they noticed a pattern that anyone accused of doing awful things seemed to get a free pass out of it if they were trans.

Imagine if you kept your mouth shut.

You could have walked free, even as a murderer.

Literally every convicted criminal's dream.

Out of prison on licence, subject to recall to prison at any time. The licence lasts for life I believe, so definitely not “free”. He’s finding that out now.

That sounds like a good way of phrasing "if I literally shut up and don't annoy anyone I could stay free potentially forever"

You're expecting a criminal to stop being one. While that is supposedly the intended effect of jail it doesn't always work so well

Well look.

Prison is a reality shock for some. It really makes some people regret their actions. The smarter ones if they get put were this person was they would probably be smart about it.

I think though in the end... that person is a man. Men have their pride, like being people of importance. The pride got to them and they went and make a ruckus.

Think like
Jesse Pinkman
from Breaking Bad. That's the kind of thing people would probably do.

Your spoiler didn't work but I haven't seen breaking bad anyway so idc. Either way my point is that criminals aren't great at doing what's in their best interest

We only know about the criminals who get caught though ;)

They can’t help themselves. If they could, they wouldn’t be criminals. And troons aren’t too good on placing governors on their own behaviors as it is. Let him rot.

He will appear in front of a magistrate’s court in a few days and it will be decided whether he stays in prison or is freed on licence. I don’t like his chances, I think he’s going back to prison for a while.

Okay but now I want the police to follow through. Treat every instance of "kill/punch terfs" as if they had said it about any other protected group. Shut down these woman hating fools for good
