Politely asking people not to call you cis while tolerating them using it themselves is a really rational way to handle it. Its fine for groups of people to have their own terms to use amongst themselves. The issue with the trans movement is that they are aggressively trying to force the entire world to conform to ways that should be kept within their inner circle. Wanting everyone to ignore biological sex in real world situations is their worst offense, but pushing everyone to cater to them in language isn't okay either.
