They Are Scared. This class “taught” me that puberty blockers are as harmless as a new haircut or clothing style. My question for them is: If you are an expert sharing important clinical information that you are certain of, why would you want your workshop to be hidden?

Man, that secrecy effort doesn't just give me "don't tell you parents about our special time" vibes, but is also eerily similar to how cults like Scientology try and keep the "inner mysteries" hidden from people who aren't fully brainwashed and thus liable to question the intense smell of bullshit.

I'm scared for this next generation. If puberty blockers were promoted to 11 year old me as a quick and easy solution to all my anxieties over growing up, I would've gone "sign me up!"
