It’s interesting isn’t it. When I was at university any topics of discussion within a subject/course were allowed if you could coherently present them and were prepared to defend them against criticism. You may be entirely wrong, but the discussion always served an educational purpose.

Now it seems that universities and colleges are much more about spoon feeding the “correct” interpretations and understandings and anything that challenges them is verboten. It’s really not a good way to run Higher Education.

I wonder if they are capable of realizing how much respect they've lost and what a joke the whole profession is becoming because of this.

Of course, kids are now being trained in cultural hypersensitivity from kindergarten.
