I know Jazz isn't happy how shit turned out for him, but I wonder if he has yet realized the treachery of his parents and the staggering harm THEY have done to him.

It takes a long time to realize that you're being abused by people who tell you every day that they love you. When he finally figures it out, we may see that family in a different kind of headline.

Plus, from what I’ve read, allegedly once the cameras are turned off, every aspect of his life is tightly controlled and monitored by his mother/handlers. They don’t want him getting ideas that what they are doing to him is wrong.

It's genuinely disturbing. Poor kid never has his own life and never will. Even if his mother dies? I'm not sure he'd know how to cope.

Honestly everyone involved should be sued and not allowed near TV or kids. They've fucked up his life. I can't imagine how hard it is to transition when you're actually trans and want it rather than doing it to try and obtain your parents love. Then on top of that every moment being followed by cameras? Your whole life broadcast for everyone to see. That alone cannot be healthy, even without everything else.

Even before his mother died it wouldn't- it seems clear the mother's actively hoping that he 41's because it'd be a great series finale.

I think that's why it makes me sad. All of it for nothing. Poor kid just wanted his mum's love and even now it feels like she doesn't care for him but the...marketability? of a trans kid.
