The absence of obstacles huh?!?! Forget obstacles, if you want to define privilege, lets start with defining privilege as having EVERY opportunity served to you on a silver platter despite far many others being more successful, qualified, or experienced. Or maybe even define privilege as being given EVERY social safe space possible, most often to the exclusion of others. Or, should we go further, further define privilege as being given complete, unchallengeable authority to socially, financially, and physically destroy others whom you disagree with at any time............ and being given ALL of this for no other reason than you checking some box that has been labled as a minority group, whether it be based on race, religion, gender, orientation, identity, etc etc etc........... THAT is privilege.
