This trans kid was literally killed by 2 black kids and was bullied for being too pale.

Black race baiters then bullying the people mourning them for caring about a white person is going to stir up some shit.

Also yes guilty as charged I don't give a fuck about your idea of "black women" or "black trans women" and word ownership. I do care that a child was murdered. And I think this person trying to start shit off of that and garner attention off of it speaks loads to her lack of character.

Social media hashtag mentality. From what I saw about the case details are rather light but the LGBTQIA+ lobby in the UK is jumping on it with social media awareness campaigns.

They’re doing it all because they’ve just been handed their arses by the Scottish Trans Rapist mess - the result of which was finding out that the general public, that is the world beyond twitter, doesn’t give a shit about them but doesn’t want them in women’s spaces. Using this murder is beyond cynical, and they deserve to get slapped for using the murder of a kid to push their politics.

Yeah what little I saw of it seemed like very blatant political action.

I've not seen any details about the murder itself. Save that the kids body was found in a park. And now two other teens have been arrested. Disturbing stuff. Racial and sexual identities of those involved seem irrelevant at this time.

The police were quick to say it wasn’t a hate crime, presumably because they knew who did it. Unfortunately, this angered the TRAs who have insisted that it was motivated by transphobia with no evidence.

I doubt we will find anything out until the trial due to the strict sub judice rules restricting what can be reported, I foresee another trial where lots of twitter users get slapped with contempt charges when they break the rules.

This kid had a lot of social media so the bullying is there for everyone to see.

The fact they have been bullied for years but only transitioned a couple of months ago doesn't line up as it being transphobic bullying.

I almost wonder if it’s a reverse situation: that he transitioned to get OUT of the bullying and put some distance between him and the bullies. He’d probably be heard more too, now that he’d be under a marginalized group.

There's a euphemism the police used which is code for when northern middle-class Guardian readers want to say something racist without letting everyone know they are racist.

In particular we are keen to speak to two people that were seen in the park where Brianna’s body was found who have been described as a white man and woman, in their late teens or early twenties, both with dark curly hair

I like how quickly they turn against one another when they realize 80% of everyone else has just been faking agreement out of fear of punishment, and itching for the chance to throw off these shrill incsesant inescapable hall monitors--not just personally, but an entire category getting the rug pulled out of it by self-appointed representatives of a greater oppression (radfems vs. the trans, feminists vs. Black activists, white-lady antiracism, now a Black woman being deployed against a British trans girl)
