Hold up, Welsh nationalists are part of this push? Isn't that the same combo (nationalists and Labour) that Scotland is currently "enjoying" in their own leadership?

In Scotland it’s the SNP and the Greens who are in a coalition in the Scottish Parliament, although Scottish Labour supported the Self-ID bill.

In Wales Welsh Labour and the nationalist Plaid Cymru run the Welsh Parliament and are behind this Self-ID nonsense.

It's a country that had so many people identify as a stunning and brave ram, are you shocked they would go for this.

It's not the people going for it in general, but rather the nationalists specifically. I'm having a hard picturing what a movement built around the idea of prying their part of the UK loose from the rest get out this arrangement.
