I don't think many people on here realise just how deeply corrupt Scottish politics is right now. The GRA reform was pushed through with a whipped vote, despite the majority of the population being against it. They tried to make out the changes were popular/needed because major NGOs were in support of it. NGOs on the government payroll, which effectively makes them no longer NGOs.

Meanwhile despite claims that the GRA reform would be merely administrative, a recent court decision ruled that the definition of sex as pertains to the Equality Act was legal sex, which means people with a GRA would effectively be treated as women under all circumstances. So that whole bit about being merely admin was a fucking lie. The judge that made this ruling, Justice Haldane got her position on the recommendation of Nicola Sturgeon.

Fuck the SNP will gloom onto anything they think will help them, couple of years ago it was feminists they caved to when it came to a hate crime bill when (as per general UK law writing its a characteristic that is protected for example "race" in general rather than a specific race) when they added sex being the motivator for a sentencing multiplier, as first written it was sex neutral meaning it did not matter male or female.

Feminist orgs went fucking mental and wanted it changed so it only applied when a offence was committed by men against women rather than applying both directions (in theory, in practice it would have most likely very rarely applied to womens sentencing if at all).

Oh aye and devolution was fucking corrupt from day one, just look at the building of the parliament building and how pretty much one of the first thing the shower of fuckwits passed was a bastarding pay rise for their corrupt arses...

that's why my tear ducts stay dry for the rads--around 2012 they really were on top of the world, they'd gotten every demand: legal exemption from rape, mixed shelters shut down, even men's centers with 1% of the budget as theirs kiboshed

tbf they had about as many "everyone evolves female unless the Y chromosome makes them orcs" loonies, while the other half was threatening colleagues for making fMRIs that might show a difference that wasn't "socialized"

but if your department is just you and another radfem and you throw half the students out of your 10-person class every semester, nobody's gonna come up and point out that you're just a glorified op-ed writer grabbing on to anything to justify yourself

I remember taking with some Scottish feminists and someone else chatting with us was a woman without much knowledge of the UK but in depth knowledge about international politics and NGOs.

She said "every independence movement is targeted by outside influences who don't care at all about that region but only about destabilising the country they are in. Every independence movement falls for it because the money and resources they offer are too valuable to turn down and they always disguise themselves as the intellectual elite so they are seen to be above playing the dirty political game they are actually engaging in. Now I don't know about the specifics but everything you have said about the SNP sound like that has already happened."

The Scottish feminists were completely taken aback by this even though they disagreed SNP policy. They were like "oh no, you just don't know about Scotland. We are the one true honest independence movement. We're different."

Reminds me of what was going on in South Korea. The SNP have basically made themselves legislative, executive and judiciary in Scotland and they're entirely beholden to a shadowy cult of perverts.

The SNP leader is facing calls to stop a transgender pervert who stalked a 13-year-old girl while identifying as a man being transferred to a women's prison after the Isla Bryson debacle.

Tiffany Scott, who followed the girl while known as Andrew Burns, has reportedly requested to be moved to a women's prison. The Daily Record reported this request has been rubber-stamped after previously being refused.

Oh Nicola, you pinned your pink and blue colours to the mast as a way to get one over on the Sassenachs and it sprayed back in your face and you’ve got no where to run now. You will just have to sit there in the mess you made and take it.
