Why? Because brownies is derogatory to brown people somehow? That's a new one to me.

Especially when it's just named after a helpful household spirit. You know one that embodies a lot of what the movement was meant to be about?

I mean part of that mythology is that fairy folk in the British Isles used to be small and dark-skinned so it's not completely unrelated to racial issues.
