Been reading a few more of the posts, and the TRAs aren't being the least bit subtle about their gaslighting and deflection. Like, the behavior that the gay gays have a problem is being directly quoted in their comments and replies, and TRAs are like "I don't see what, where do you see that, why are you being so hateful toward people who aren't doing anything?"

Edit: My goodness, but this thread is just a mine of lulz. My new favorite quote is Dear_Put9830's "homonationalist castro clones," and this absolute gem of a smoothlobe has so many delightful shittakes, like pressing the lie that gay rights were won by trans people. I'd almost suspect this one of being a dedicated troll, if they didn't seem to spend all of their time hovering around the gay men subs.

"Homonationalist Castro Clone" sounds like one of those insults that ends up getting adopted by the group it's aimed at, because it sounds too fucking cool.

I'm especially loving the assertion that gay people only have equal rights due to queer theory. That's some truly astounding historical revisionism considering it was the complete opposite and it was the queer theory lot who almost fucked it up for them by trying to bring paedophiles into the fold
