The comments are making me wonder if LGB is slowly distancing themselves from the T.Most of them keep pointing out how they got banned from not just the main sub but also IRL gay bars, and etc.

No need to wonder. A significant proportion of the LGB don't subscribe to the gender woo-woo.

Assuming you're gay, it's just so bizarre because a lot of TRAs arguments completely contradict everything homosexuals have fought for.The subreddit actual lesbians is filled with TWs who keep claiming it's bigoted to talk about "genital preference".Also, i don't know if the gays on reddit are saying this due to social pressure or if they truly believe it but i've seen them say that sexuality is on a spectrum/choice due to some gay men liking trans girls.

It's Reddit. You get banned for saying a lot of things there. Gay men in real life don't date transgender people. Some of them will say they would, but they won't.

Reddit is as much of a propaganda outlet as it turns out Twitter was. I do not believe there are many gays who subscribe to that notion. Some bi guys might like genderfuck but that's kinda it.

Gays take no shit, basically. Nobody has anything to gain by pretending to play along because, well, they're into guys and that's kinda it. Masculinity is the currency. The social dynamics that make women/lesbians vulnerable to gender rhetoric don't apply.

It could be like that. Although depends on the community. I had a misfortune of knowing a few trans people and one of them, a girl (FTM) said once that she thinks the T doesn’t belong in the acronym, because it’s a gender identity and not a sexual orientation. Nevertheless, she was pro-“trans rights” and still connected these issues of orientation and identities. I think there are some other trans people like her. But of course it’s up to non-trans LGB what they will do with that.
