Well I've considered that a religious revival type movement is in the wings for some time, fends to happen cyclically. Rememeber back in the 80's and 90's when the "woke moralists" were all christian?
20th century saw the start of the Pentacostslist movement and the Billy Graham style baptist revival. People will be attracted to religious explanations of the world same reason why the trans internet takes on many of the same cultish behaviors you see in religious cults.
What's next for the world? In the past couple centuries alone saw Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, moonies, Pentacostslists, 7th day adventists and probably a bunch of others I've not heard of. I reckon the 21st century is overdue for a new religious cult and social media has certainly made it easier to spread a message out there. Question is what will it be? Another person claiming to actually be the last prophet of god but nah really this time. Another person claiming to be the reincarnation of Jesus? Some kind of Buddhist spin off? Who knows.

Islamic conversions are possible. I suspect you'll see more Muslims simply due to immigration and birth rates though. Though who knows.
The churches in the US have kind of fumbled the ball with the generational passing of the torch really. I think it's simply due to corruption and the churches trying to function more like a business than an organic reflection of the communities they are in. I mean goddamn have you been into one of those McChurch non-denominationally Baptist megaplexes? It's like they skipped the chapter where Jesus went ape shit on all the people selling things in the temple. Like good God you're going to advertise your fucking bookstore during the sermon? And call the cops of me for loudly condemning you mid service? WWJD? Oh wait I have to pay to use that shit right? Just like the "New Revised Millennium" translation or whatever the fuck it's called I have to pay zondervision publishing house to quote from? Really hate Christianity x Capitalism just feels scummy as shit. But I'm a milk or coffee kind of guy anyway either is fine on it's own but don't you fucking mix them and ruin both.
Maybe the Muslims are on to something actually. Though I suspect there's big money to be had there too. Any Muslims here wanna chime in? I kinda suspect the Hajj has become super commercialized judging by all the construction going on in Mecca. But it is Saudi Arabia and I'm not allowed to go since I'm a filthy Goyim anyway so maybe it's just all oil money?
I always feel uncomfortable when "evangelists" make you pay to access their content. They're basically asking you to pay them for salvation.
I don't trust Bible translations either. I've discovered many blatant changes made to support fundamentalist doctrines.
